This is the site from Texas Workforce Commission, they are 100's of links to great information to youth programs and other very helpful information. call your local TWC center and ask about the youth programs for 16-24 years old, they have some great help, jobs, job placement etc...they really help with a lot of things people are not aware of. My daughter was in their program, they were great!

Youth services provide assistance to individuals between the ages of 14-21 who meet income requirements in defining their educational and career goals.
Activities may include:
- Tutoring, study skills training, and instruction leading to the completion of secondary school, including dropout prevention strategies,
- Alternative secondary school services,
- Paid and unpaid work experience, including internships and job shadowing,
- Occupational skills training,
- Leadership development opportunities, which include community service and peer-centered activities encouraging responsibility and other positive social behaviors during non-school hours,
- Support services such as child care, transportation, work clothes and others,
- Adult mentoring during participation and after leaving the program,
- Follow-up services to support continued success in achieving education, employment and other planned goals.
This program helped my daughter get a job, a nice job, took her out and bought her over 100.00 dollars worth of nice clothes, and lots of other incentives like gas cards, etc...It was a great program.
